“Inside” made a similar choice, but if “Limbo” is a film noir, “Inside” is a gritty zombie movie. Along with such giants as “Fez” and “Super Meat Boy,” “Limbo” holds a special place in the indie game category for its haunting atmosphere, simple controls and unique style, with dozens of accolades and over 3 million downloads to back it up. There was a few moments where the trial and error moments got out of hand, but that shouldn't scare you off from what I don't just consider one of the best games of 2016, or one of the best games of the 2010s, but I consider it to be one of the best games of all time.The 2011 puzzle/platformer “Limbo” is often cited as one of the quintessential independent games. Don't let that playtime though put you down, 4 hours of a good game is better than 4 hours of fun in a 20+ hour game. You must run and solve puzzles throughout the course of the game, which won't take you probably that long, due to the game being only about 3 to 4 hours long. If I say anymore, it's not worth playing.
